There are many kinds of solenoid valves, hydraulic solenoid valves for hydraulic control systems, pneumatic solenoid valves for pneumatic control systems. The role of these solenoid valves is to control the flow of liquid or gas, the level of pressure or the size of the flow. Although there are many types of solenoid valves, the structure is the same. They are made up of three main parts. The first part is the solenoid valve body, the second part is the solenoid valve spool, the third part is the drive spool. The electromagnet, or spring, works as shown in the figure below.
Pneumatic valve is also an important component to control the air pressure, flow and flow direction, so we can divide the pneumatic valve into three categories, the first is to control the direction, we call the direction control valve, the second is to regulate the pressure, we call the pressure control valve, the third is to control the air flow, we call the flow control valve.
Electromagnetic valve identification method
Whether hydraulic valve or pneumatic valve, their structure is the same, so when talking about the solenoid valve, often use the word "several positions, several channels", so when we get the solenoid valve, how should we distinguish it? How many positions and channels does the solenoid valve have?
Below is the reversing valve. We assume that when the spool moves to the right, the output pressure of the hydraulic pump will enter the left chamber of the hydraulic cylinder from port P of the valve through port A. At this time, the liquid in the hydraulic cylinder cavity valve will flow back to the tank through port B, so that the piston in the valve moves to the right. Of course, if the spool moves to the left, the flow of the fluid will be reversed and the piston will move to the left.
We can draw the reversing valve as a graphic symbol, as shown on the left side of the figure above. Because the valve core of the reversing valve has three working positions relative to the valve body, we generally use a thick wire frame symbol to represent one working position of the valve, so there are three boxes, so we call it a three-position valve.
And because the reversing valve has five oil ports, P, A, B, T1 and T2, there are five intersection points between the channel representing the liquid in each large box and the box. This reversing valve is also called five-way valve. In this way, we can know that the valve is generally judged to be three-position five-way valve.
As can be seen from the figure above, the oil port in the middle of the valve is disconnected. We usually use symbols like "T" to indicate that when the spool moves to the left, it means that the reversing valve works in the left position, and then P, A, B and T2 are the same; if the spool moves to the right, it means that the reversing valve works in the right position, and then P, A, B and T1 are the same. Through this explanation, we can determine that the valve is a three-position five-way directional valve.
Through the analysis of the oil valve, the judgment of the solenoid valve is the same. For example, the solenoid valve on the right side of the gas circuit diagram in the following figure can be obtained according to the analysis of the oil circuit valve. It has two big boxes, first you can make sure it is a two-position solenoid valve, and then see how many outlets it has. Through observation, it is found that each square has three air outlets, so we can call this kind of solenoid valve two-position three-way solenoid valve.
In this way, through the analysis of two kinds of valves, we can draw a conclusion, that is, first of all, to observe how many boxes in the symbol diagram of the solenoid valve, how many boxes represent the number of valves, and then see how many oil or gas inlet and outlet in each box, some multi-way valve, so that we can easily distinguish the following solenoid valve is two five-way solenoid valve, The diagram is shown below.
The identification of solenoid valve is mainly based on two points. One is to observe the solenoid valve how many air ports to determine the number of valves. The other is according to the electromagnetic valve body on the nameplate marked by the graphic symbol to judge. Is several valves, through the above two steps it is not difficult to distinguish the number of solenoid valve and the number of channels.
