Pneumatic actuators occupy a very important position in the field of industrial production. Pneumatic actuators mostly work in harsh environments, such as high temperature, high pressure, strong corrosion and other environments.
This makes the probability of pneumatic actuator failure still has a certain increase. The common faults are that the valve body does not move, the valve cannot be closed to the zero position, the pneumatic actuator does not respond to the signal, and the signal pressure is unstable.
There are also some more special faults, such as pneumatic actuator control valve oscillation. Next, we mainly analyze the causes and solutions of special fault control valve vibration.
Pneumatic actuator control valve oscillation will cause the control system to fail to work normally. The main reasons for the oscillation are the following three
External vibration source, that is, the equipment pipeline itself has vibration
The selection of the pneumatic actuator control valve does not meet the selection requirements, such as unsuitable flow characteristics, large valve caliber, poor spring stiffness, etc., resulting in control valve oscillation.
It is eroded by the fluid and oscillates.
Solution: If it is found that the equipment pipeline itself has vibration, the equipment pipeline can be cleaned and readjusted to make the vibration disappear.
If it is the problem of the pneumatic actuator control valve itself, the restricting orifice can be used to absorb part of the pressure drop, reduce the throttling speed, overcome the valve vibration, and the restricting orifice can also change the natural frequency of the system to avoid the natural frequency of the control valve It oscillates close to the natural frequency of the system.
