Limit switch es are widely used in various CNC lathes and lifting equipment for stroke control and terminal positioning protection. In the control loop of the elevator car, the limit switch is also used to control the opening and closing speed of the landing door, the positioning of the automatic opening and closing door, and the protection of the upper and lower limits of the elevator car.
Limit switch (a position switch), is a common small current CAM controller household appliances. The impact of the energy element makes the contact position of the control circuit open or open, so as to achieve a certain control purpose. Generally, this type of switch is used to limit the position or stroke of molecular thermal motion, so that the moving machinery automatically stops, reciprocating motion, speed change or automatic reciprocating motion according to a certain position or stroke.
What three points should you pay attention to when using the limit switch?
1. Electrical standards
The switching quantity of AC and DC is very different, please use limit switch within the rated range. In a DC magnetic field, the controlling force is very low. That's because it has no zero. Once the arc is produced, it is difficult to subside, and the arc time is long. And the direction of the current is determined, so there will be contact transfer, so that the contact will not break because of uneven.
2, touch protection circuit
In order to better increase the service life of limit switch contacts, avoid noise, reduce carbon or sodium cyanide caused by arc, should use contact protection power circuit. But if done incorrectly, the gains may well outweigh the losses.
3. Application environment
Do not use limit switches alone in the presence of flammable or combustible gas mixtures. Because the switch heating caused arc, can cause fire or explosion. Switch is not moisture-proof structure, should be equipped with protective cover to prevent oil or water splash, splash or dust adhesion to direct liquid.
