It is mainly composed of switch components, wiring terminals, switch actuator, transmission components and so on. According to the mechanical mechanism of switching contacts on and off, there are two types of switching components:
Slow switch: The switching time of the switch is related to the running speed of the switch. The faster the operation, the faster the switch.
Quick action switch: Switch on and off time has nothing to do with the speed of switch operation. As long as the switch operation part is operated to a certain position, the switch will switch. The processing time is generally the time required by the spring bounce is very short and stable.
Switch contacts connect and disconnect together
When the contacts of the switch are separated by a certain interval, the equipment stops running. This is to eliminate the possibility of moving away from the title contact point due to oscillation (switch hysteresis effect).
When the running speed is slow
When the DC current is disconnected, the current arc needs to disappear quickly
For the use of the above situation, the jump buckle type limit switch can be used.
Selector element of limit switch
1. Type of transmission rod
2. Contact form
3. Motor characteristics
4. Ability to shock
5. Use the environment
Operating characteristics of limit switches
FP: Bearing of the drive rod without external force
OP: The position of the drive rod when the external force is applied by the drive rod to reverse the switch contact just as it begins to reverse from the free position
TTP: The bearing of the drive rod when it reaches the transmission stop bearing
RP: Reduce the external force on the drive rod, that is, the position of the drive rod when the switch's moving contact has just reversed from the action position to the free position state
Force: The force exerted on the drive rod in order to move from the free position to the operating position
Recovery force: The force exerted on the drive lever in order to move from the total travel position to the return position
TTF: The force required to move the drive rod from free position to total stroke position
PT: Movement interval or viewpoint of the drive lever from free position to action position
OT: The movement interval or viewpoint of the drive lever from the action position to the total stroke position
MD: Movement interval or moving viewpoint of the drive lever from the action position to the return positio
TT: The distance or viewpoint of the drive lever from free bearing to total stroke bearing
The application of limit switch in industry
Limit switches are used to convert mechanical displacement into electrical signals to control mechanical action or for program control. Collaborate with other devices to create more cluttered automation.
Limit switch can be widely used in construction, port, mining and other industries of lifting machinery. The three practical electric limit switches have the characteristics of small volume, multiple functions, high precision, strong versatility, easy protection, installation, operation and adjustment. They are widely used in construction machinery.
